Visiting for the first time?

We love visitors! If you plan to attend one of our services, expect to feel welcome!

In all our services it is our primary goal to glorify God by offering worship that is acceptable to Him. We seek to exalt the Lord in reverent, biblical worship, which includes prayer, Scripture reading, hymn singing and faithful Bible-preaching.

We are fundamental (orthodox) in our doctrine, conservative in our style and neither Charismatic nor Calvinistic. We love hymns and spiritual songs (both old and new) that are theologically accurate and devotionally rich. Each Sunday morning we observe the Lord’s Table (Communion) while Baptismal services are occasionally held on a Sunday evening. We use the King James Version of the Bible in all our meetings.

By God’s grace we strive for worship that is biblical, reverent and joyful; fellowship that is encouraging, meaningful and loving; service that is sacrificial, practical and helpful, both locally and around the world. This is in response to our holy God, Who is gracious, merciful, and loving!

Can I bring my children?

Yes, please do!! We have Sunday School classes for all ages (from 3 years old and upwards). Classes begin at 9:00am and conclude at 10:00am. The Sunday morning worship service starts at 10:30am and our evening service is at 5:30pm. We love to have children in the services; however, during the morning service, a crèche is available for children between the ages of 1 to 5 years should you like to make use of it. All our crèche workers have background checks and receive training in child protection annually.

What should I wear?

Many people in our congregation like to dress up in their “Sunday best”, others prefer smart casual. There is no dress code for visitors. Come just as you are!

Should I bring my Bible?

Since the Bible is central to everything we do, our commitment is to preach and teach the Bible in every service. Therefore it is a big advantage to bring your Bible - so you can see God’s Word on the page as well as hear it proclaimed.

But if you don’t have a Bible, that’s not a problem! Simply tell our ushers. We have additional copies for you to borrow.

Am I expected to participate in the offering?

No! There is absolutely no obligation for visitors to contribute to the offering. You are our guest, and we appreciate your presence.

The offering is an opportunity for our congregation to worship the Lord and to help our church spread the Gospel in our community and around the world.

Can I participate in the Lord’s table?

We practice an open table at this church and invite any born-again believer who is in fellowship with God and his fellow Christians to participate.

What about parking?

We have limited onsite parking available in our William Street carpark. However, street parking is available along Lancelot, William and Hunter Streets.
